Drumroll, please...

New Voices Opera is pleased to announce some HUGE changes to our 2014-2015 Season!

First of all, we will be performing our Spring 2015 Opera at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Downtown Bloomington, IN. This theater is much larger than our previous venue, so we're having to plan extremely far in advance in order to make sure this production is our best ever! Because of the way NVO chooses our productions, we will have only 6 months between choosing which opera to premiere and the performance. An enormous amount of work by a large team of dedicated volunteers will bring the show to life. We have to create every facet of the production, including designing costumes, building sets, rehearsing the musicians, creating promotional materials ...it's a LOT of work! But the end result is extremely rewarding, and we're incredibly excited to be moving our organization forward.

Additionally, the Bloomington Playwrights Project is graciously donating their Timothy J Wiles Theater to NVO for an encore performance of our Fall Exhibition on Friday, November 14th. We are thrilled to be cooperating with this important local arts organization, and we are sincerely grateful for their gracious support of NVO. They have an incredibly exciting season coming up, so don't miss out on the opportunity to experience brand new stage works right here in Bloomington!
